Privacy Policy
This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and your rights under UK GDPR.
Who we are
OddsLens is a UK-based service. For the purposes of UK data protection law, OddsLens is the “data controller” of personal data processed through this website and app.
Contact: support@oddslens.io
What we collect
- Account data: email address and authentication identifiers used to log you in.
- Profile data (optional): name, phone, address, preferences (such as default stake).
- Usage and security logs: diagnostic and security logs to operate and protect the service.
- Billing metadata: subscription state and basic billing information from our payment processor. We do not store full card details.
How we use data
- Provide the service (authentication, access, subscriptions, support).
- Maintain security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot issues.
- Improve the product through aggregated analytics and feedback.
- Send important service messages. If you opt in, we may also send occasional product or event updates.
Legal bases (UK GDPR)
- Contract: to provide the service you request (accounts and subscription access).
- Legitimate interests: operating, securing, and improving the service.
- Consent: where you opt in to marketing/event messages (you can withdraw at any time).
- Legal obligation: where required for tax/accounting or other compliance.
Sharing and processors
We only share personal data with trusted service providers (“processors”) where needed to run OddsLens, such as infrastructure/hosting and payment providers.
We do not sell personal data.
International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.
Retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described, including complying with legal and accounting obligations. You can request deletion where applicable.
Your rights
You may have rights including access, correction, deletion, restriction, and objection.
To exercise your rights, contact bryn@oddslens.io.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. No online system is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Cookies
We use essential cookies for login, session security and your cookie choice; these do not need consent. With your permission (the banner on your first visit) we also load a Meta advertising pixel so we can measure our own advertising. It receives page views and standard events such as sign-ups; it does not receive your bets, your Betfair details or your account data. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, which brings the banner back.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
